If you drive a 2011-2016 LML Duramax, you're probably familiar with the fuel filter restriction sensor that monitors vacuum between the filter and CP4 pump. Unfortunately, this sensor can fail in two ways:

• Electrical Failure: The sensor malfunctions electrically, triggering a "Change Filter" message and showing zero filter life. This prevents you from resetting the filter life.
• Sensor Leaks: When the sensor starts leaking, trucks without an aftermarket fuel system may face a crank/no-start issue. Those with a lift pump could experience a fuel leak and hard-starting.

Our Fuel Pressure Sensor Fooler & Delete Plug Kit is designed to tackle both of these issues. The Fooler connects to the factory harness, sending the right signal to the ECM to ensure proper fuel pressure (vacuum) is communicated. The Delete Plug allows the sensor to be fully removed and is o-ringed for a leak-free installation.

Note: This kit isn't intended to mask rail pressure issues. If you're getting a "Change Filter" message during hard acceleration, your truck may have low rail pressure. Be sure to address any potential rail pressure problems. However, for faulty or leaking sensors, our fooler and delete plug will provide an effective fix as advertised.
