The 537-1-HSP is best known as the HSP Upper Coolant Tube for the 2011-2014 LML Duramax equipped Chevrolet and GMC trucks. This is an often-overlooked piece that can set off that engine bay.
Why would you need the HSP Upper Coolant Tube for the 2011-2014 LML Trucks?
The factory upper coolant tube is a piece that just doesn't work as well as it should and looks awful when compared to the rest of the engine bay in the LML trucks. The factory version of the upper coolant pipe is rubber and is prone to cracking causing failure of the coolant system. This also is apparent when looking at the engine bay that it is center stage and doesn't look like it fits with the rest of the engine bay.
What does the HSP Upper Coolant Tube do differently?
To start the HSP Upper Coolant Tube is made of aluminum. This was done to prevent cracking that can cause cooling system failures. We also made it out of aluminum because we wanted you to be able to clean up the engine bay in that LML Duramax. With powder coat options and the HSP Diesel logo that sits right up top, you can see the difference between the HSP Upper Coolant Tube and the factory piece immediately. We used slight bends to create the perfect drop-in piece that will fit with all factory parts and gives the best flow through that tube possible.

How do people know the VIN code?
Engine code is dictated by the 8th character of the VIN number. The 10th character is the year of the truck.
